Avoid at all costs

Their "unlimited data" is garbage. Was not told my unlimited data would be changed without my permission to limited unlimited data. Phone calls drop randomly, and at times you dial the number and your left listening to everything else around you besides your phone ringing. This company is garbage and blames your phone for the problem. Meanwhile I have 2 friends that are experiencing these same issues.

Worst customer service provider

Worst customer service provider - I wonder if the Boost management knows what is going on under their nose.
The online chat CSR told me not to trust the on call CSR and vise versa. When you call Boost CSR different representative will tell you different things. It's like they work for different companies not the same. I am already a customer when I changed my sim plan and call them about the international calls - the CSR told me that I will be only eligible if I get a new sim and call them again to change the sim and I will get that plan. Did that and the customer told me that in the next few hours your new sim will be activated and when you get SMS from us then change sim only. After 24 hours called them and the CSR yelled at me like I was the CSR and he was the customer - I hanged up. Called after 48 hours that what is going on and I was told that there is no activity like that going on my account. I kept on explaining things to on call CSR about the issue and she just kept saying to dial #111# on phone. It is Pathetic and unprofessionalism. On my last 2 calls they just hanged up on me and didn't even bother to call back and also there is no professionalism as I said they don't use the words like pls, sorry and thank you for calling etc.
Two things here,
One at the same time my cousin\my room mate went to do the same thing same time with me and they changed his sim plan at the same time with no issues and no change of sim.
Second, why would we need to change the phone sim when you are already existing customer.

WARNING BOOST MOBILE

I had been a happy customer of Virgin Mobile for 7 years and unfortunately they were sold to Boost Mobile. I realized changes in service immediately. Not for the good. I stayed with Boost Mobile for longer than I should have. Finally I got the time to change carriers. I called into Boost to cancel service and come to find out they have locked my phone. I purchased my phone outright three years before Boost Mobile took over. It is now the 3rd business day I have not been able to use my phone. I was told that unfortunately this is something Boost Mobile does to all their customers. I believe it is a unprofessional practice and may be against the law. I recommend you find another carrier that will not treat you like a criminal. The cell service is weak and spotty at best. WARNING DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH BOOST MOBILE.

Whilst porting my number to Boost for a new prepaid sim, I was told to wait 4 hours, then 24, then 72, and for 10 days I have been told ‘rest assure’ it will work in 24 hours, or someone will contact you. I have requested on three occasions to speak to management who never called back, and now I’ve been given a phone number for the care team that doesn’t work. AVOID

Boost mobile:-Return Policy

Boost mobile:-they have terrible cell service -they do not honor their 7-day unsatisfactory return policy. -they have dishonest store representatives and customer service. They will not give you a refund. The CSR stated to return a phone within 2 days of receiving it before they will give you, your money back, and then there's a process stock fee for the returned.

Worst customer service & broken promises

Was a Virgin Mobile pay-as-you-go account. Once acquired by Boost, I've experienced nothing but incompetent, callous, and ineffective customer service. A) broke their promise that I could use my account balance for ongoing payments b) could no longer check voice mail using my landline c) suddenly cannot connect to cell network - call multiple times & waste multiple hours on hold, getting disconnected, being told to call the phone maker (who is not responsible for cell connections), and getting no resolution d) finally promised that I can use my balance to buy a new phone, since Boost is suddenly expiring my balance in 2 months e) Sales 855 number refuses to honor Customer Service's promise. Overall terrible experience with a company who lies, hangs up, and does not care.

How do you rate almost total non-service?

I was completely satisfied with VirginMobile until it was purchased by Boost. Boost was acceptable until suddenly I had no service, about a month ago. I thought that maybe it was my old phone that was the problem, so I purchased another from Boost. Boost has been absolutely unable to provide me with basic phone service, although it is not hesitating to charge me for monthly service which includes absolutely no connectivity with anything. Beware, stay away from this company. I would give the company much less that one star for service, it it were possible...

They suck.

I had Boost for years until somehow they showed I purchased a phone thru them when I didn't. Every month they would shut my service off and I would call customer service, and they would turn it back on. I spent 2 hours in a Boost store and they couldn't get it fixed. Finally I went to Cricket, and lost the last 2 weeks of my service at Boost. Their customer service is somewhere they don't speak English. They might as well not have customer service, they resolve no issues and suck. Don't get Boost.

Buyer Beware

In short, if you purchase online you're taking a risk. If you have any delivery issues, it all falls on the customer and if you want to cancel an order they pretty much won't because "they will put in a ticket but there is no guarantee."

In detail, this was a long, exhausting week going back and forth with the 1-800 number. I'll try to sum up the main details. First, I ordered a 200$ phone on Sunday night and decided quickly it wasn't what I wanted. I tried to cancel the next morning (Monday). See above. I get a call from Boost Mobile on Friday that the phone was delivered Wednesday. I never received a shipment confirmation. I never received the phone. For context, I recently moved to a good neighborhood. I had a Samsung tablet fixed and left on my porch for hours without issue. I promptly call the 1-800 number to inform them it didn't arrive. They opened an "investigation." I was required to file a police report with a list of information and send it to a complicated email address. I asked for these instructions to be sent via email. They said they didn't have that capability. I spoke with the police department Monday. I wasn't surprised when they said they never heard of such a thing and didn't want to do it. THEN, I spoke with Amy Supervisor who told me if the police won't file a report they can't refund me, that I can't talk to another supervisor, I can't have her direct line, and I can't speak to her boss (Aseundy) but she can call me back (she never called). Then Jay Supervisor told me I don't have to worry about a police report that they will still investigate. THEN I got a call later that evening saying they are closing my case because I didn't provide one. SO I drove the Boost mobile rep down to the police department to speak to the chief of police. The chief informed them that he doesn't just file police reports without following up on them and as far as he can see there is no crime. They informed him that this is their process. So the chief of police wrote up a report (that was closed at the same time it was opened) and I got my refund.

Couple of other things, there is no corporate number for Boost Mobile. Every time you call you will speak with a rep who will verify all your information, go through every interaction you've had with boost, and then you will hear them typing. For reference, I called to confirm that they received my police report (because they don't send confirmations for those either). That took approximately 20 minutes and they couldn't confirm. Also, I have been a customer for 8 years. That is close to 10k I have given to this company and I will be leaving over a 200$ phone. :)

Don't walk RUN AWAY FROM BOOST MOBILE

I have been with Boost Mobile for 15 years they started out real good now they're horrible run away from boost their customer service is horrible their cell phones are horrible and I put up with this aggravation for about 3 years now so I'm the one that's the fool continuously one problem after another I'm just one of those people that don't like jumping around to different companies. I was hoping the service would improve but no. And now I get the new A21 2 weeks back and its worse than my already suck ass A20. My kids cheap cool pad phones work better than the expensive boost mobile phones. Boost is dying and it shows by the service they provide. The best phone that worked and kept me with boost was the J7 and J7perx. If they still had that one I would take a chance but I'm soooooooooooooo done with boost.
